Questions owners ask us
Do I need to buy a special machine?
No. Tindro runs in the browser on a phone, tablet, laptop or desktop. A barcode scanner and a receipt printer are optional: any scanner that types into your device works, and receipts print to any printer your device can print to.
Do I need internet?
Yes. Tindro saves every sale online as it happens, so it needs a connection. Mobile data works fine.
Are the receipts official BIR receipts?
No. Tindro prints sales receipts for your customers and your records. It is not a BIR-accredited system, so a business required to issue official receipts must keep doing so.
What happens when the 30 days end?
The account becomes read-only until you subscribe. You can still sign in and see every record, but you cannot record new sales. Nothing is deleted.
Can I move my products over from my current system?
Not automatically yet. Send us your product list as a spreadsheet and we will help you get it in.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
The account becomes read-only rather than closed, and your records stay accessible. If you ask us to close it, your data is deleted within 30 days.
